In the current economic climate we don't have a lot of money to spare. Unless you're a politician on expenses or the CEO of some major international conglomerate then you don't tend to have a lot of spare cash.
One thing I like to do with my wife if we do have any spare money is to go out for a meal. Now I don't have expensive tastes, but at the same time a "Toby Inn" is not always going to satisfy my lust for good food.
I like something that somebody has taken a little time over, not something out of a freezer and into a microwave......I digress once more, I really must try to stop doing that!
So when we venture out for a meal what I don't want to find is the place overrun by kids while their fuckwit irresponsible parents do nothing but watch on. In the eyes of a parent their child can do know wrong - *News Flash* They are not the innocent children you think they are.
Even though the bloody cretin is running around your table while you're trying to eat and have a conversation with your wife. You try not to get upset as you watch the kids throw food initially at one another and then anyone who happens to be in range of the fucking little idiots.
Then there is the screaming.
What is it with little girls and their need to scream as loud as they can for no apparent reason?
When I was a kid I was taken out for the odd meal. Not that often, we weren't a rich family and we didn't have a lot of money, but I remember going out to a restuarant now and again for a meal.
If I messed about I was told off. If I was stupid enough to continue messing around I expect I got a smacked arse - the system works, I soon learnt not to be an arsehole and everybody was happy.
This is because I was bought up by good parents. Parents that realise there needs to be discipline as well as love and that a healthy mixture of the two means your child grows up with some sense and morals.
Not the parents of today it would seem. "Of course I'm not going to smack him" says mum as the little kid kicks and bites his sister, calls her a shit and then smacks mum on the side of the head.
As the children run around knocking over everything and running around your table you shoot the parents a little look, one that says "Please.....control your children....then we can all have a good time".
What do we get in response? A look saying "You even mention my kids and Ill shout pedo so loud you'll be lynched before you reach the exit".
So you immature, selfish fuckers of parents. When you take your kids out for a meal, control the little shits.
Show some discipline, I don't mean you need to smack your kids all the time; there are plenty of other effective ways to discipline a child and it will do them no harm at all.
In fact it might even mean they grow up with some morals, don't start doing drugs at 13, joyriding at 14 and being "proud parents" at 15.
Control your sprogs and let us all have a good time. Alternatively look away and let me discipline your kids for you - that will sort them out!
