Today we want to highlight two essential values in all our operations: transparency and accountability. These values strengthen the confidence of investors, clients, and all participants in each project.
Transparency is more than just highlighting economic achievements as an entity that invests in sustainable infrastructure. It should encompass both financial and non-financial aspects. That is why I am pleased to announce that in this edition of our newsletter, we are presenting four significant reports showing our performance's social and environmental impacts.
The first is the Sustainability Report of the Investment Fund for the Development of Dominican Infrastructures I, which evidences our contribution to a positive impact on the social and environmental surroundings of the region.
The second, CIFI's Gender Equity Report, highlights our ongoing efforts to promote gender equality in all our operations, fostering an equitable and inclusive environment.
The third report, our 2022 Sustainability Report, shows our achievements over the past year in sustainability, highlighting our commitment to environmental protection and responsible resource management.
Finally, in the Corporate Social Responsibility Report, we showcase our contributions to Panamanian society, noting initiatives that benefit our community and promote sustainable development.

THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF INVESTMENTS MADE BY THE INVESTMENT FUND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DOMINICAN INFRASTRUCTURES I
The Investment Fund for the Development of Dominican Infrastructures I, managed by CIFI and administrated by AFI Universal, has significantly impacted the Dominican Republic. With 14 billion Dominican pesos (US$250 million), this fund has created tourist and commercial spaces that receive millions of visitors annually, generating close to 2,700 jobs. In addition, it has provided clean energy to more than 500,000 Dominicans and has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than 300,000 tons of CO2eq. Read more... |

Our CEO, César Cañedo-Argüelles, participated in the prestigious Latam GRI Infra & Energy 2023 event in New York, a relevant international meeting for leaders in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors.
The 8th edition of the event, held on May 11-12, brought together more than 300 GRI members, including pension funds, investment banks, and government authorities.
